　　It is the 15th National Fitness Day and the first Sports Publicity Week. In August, the Shanghai Sports Museum will not only continue to open the night show of "Fantastic Night of the Museum" every Friday, but also launch two activities, namely "Inheritance Workshop Xuxing Straw Making" and "Sports Building Model Building Experience", so that you can feel the charm of intangible culture together with your fingertips, and savor the past lives of the sports building when assembling.

　　Xuxing straw weaving was produced in beautiful Jiading water town, and it was made by dexterous women's hands. Xuxing ancestors used yellow grass stalks to weave exquisite daily necessities, decorated with colorful patterns, which were fine and beautiful, light and convenient, and yellow grass fabrics were well-known in all directions.

　　Born in the distant Tang Dynasty, it flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and now it has reached the 21st century. Xu Xing's cursive script combines rich local customs, flowing life breath and soft poetry and painting, which has irreplaceable artistic value. In 2008, Xu Xing's draft was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list, and in 2018, it was selected as the first batch of national traditional craft revitalization list.

　　Qin Wang, a non-genetic inheritor, will give a live lecture to show you the history of Xu Xing's straw weaving and guide the audience to finish a simple straw weaving work with sports-related elements.

　　Sports Building Model Building Experience

　　Shanghai's modern sports activities were initially dominated by western expatriates. In the 1820s, Americans such as Fitch and Rockefeller raised funds to build the Young People's Association of Xiqiao in order to provide a sports-oriented and entertaining venue for Xiqiao youth. Among them, the 200-square-meter heated swimming pool is the earliest one built in Shanghai.

　　After liberation, the building returned to the people's hands. In 1953, it was renamed Sports Building, and in 1989, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Shanghai. The Shili foreign exchange outside the building has changed in the spring and autumn, and it has changed several times, and the style of this building remains the same.

　　In order to stimulate the sports vitality of the broad masses of the people and improve the scientific and technological sports literacy and science and technology innovation ability of young people, the architectural model technical coach is specially invited to the activity site to popularize the historical knowledge of the sports building, introduce the model design concept, interpret the national youth architectural model related competitions, and guide the parent-child family to complete the architectural model making of the sports building.
