　　Due to the discovery of a large number of jade articles, stone tools and jade device blanks in Lanzhou, some researchers believe that Yangjingziwan site in Jinta County, Gansu Province is a jade processing factory in the Han Dynasty on the ancient Silk Road.

　　"So many Hetian jade materials are found here, and they are on the surface of the Gobi, and they have been artificially polished. There is only one situation." Duan Yingjun, a researcher at Jiuquan Cultural Relics Administration, said, "That is, ancient merchants transported jade materials from all over the country through the Silk Road to be processed here and then shipped to the Central Plains for sale."

　　Yangjingzi Township in Jinta County is located in an important section of the ancient Silk Road. According to historical records, in order to further consolidate the frontier defense and manage the western regions, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty built large-scale facilities such as Guancheng, Fengbao and Fort in Heihe and other places, and sent garrisons, set officials to open canals, and resettled people.

　　Among them, Shoushuijingguan, located in Yangjingzi Township, was built from the second year of Yuanshou of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty to the third year of Taisan, with a history of more than 2,000 years. It was the Fengsai Guancheng in the Han Dynasty, which was the throat of traffic in and out of Hexi and north and south at that time. Dongdawan City was the seat of Shoushuiduwei House in the Han Dynasty. In addition, Yangjingzi Township has many Han Dynasty sites, such as Diwan City and West Triangle City, which are relatively concentrated in Han Dynasty sites.

　　"Yangjingzi Township has discovered a large number of jade device blanks, mostly Hetian jade, but also Qilian jade and Kunlun jade." Duan Yingjun said. The reporter learned that the farmers here carry dry food and go out for a few days, and they can find jade on the Gobi Desert.

　　These jade device blanks have obvious traces of processing. Judging from the degree of weathering, most of them are old jade, but no large-scale jade mining field has been found in local history. There is only one possibility that so many Hetian jade materials are found here. This is a jade processing factory and distribution center.

　　In addition, a large number of jade and stone tools have been found in Yangjingziwan site, mainly including yu fu, stone axe, stone chisel and agate drill. We know that picking up these cultural relics has almost become an industry for farmers in Yangjingzi Township during their leisure time. Many farmers have this kind of collection at home, which shows that there are so many stone tools.

　　These tools are beautifully made. In the Han Dynasty, it is hard to imagine how such hard tools were polished. There are so many tools lost here, unless this is a special processing factory.

　　In addition, Yangjingzi Township has the advantage of opening a large-scale processing factory. In the Han Dynasty, it was the seat of Shoushuiduwei House, which was heavily guarded and relatively stable, only 50 kilometers away from Jiuquan County, an important town in the Western Han Dynasty, with convenient transportation.

　　In addition, the Heihe River flows through here, with fertile land and rich aquatic plants, making it an ideal place to live. Duan Yingjun believes that this also has the geographical advantage of opening large-scale processing plants.
