Suddenly, there was a deep and sad pipa sound in the distance, which made the already confused man more excited. He listened to the pipa sound, feeling as if listening to a sad story, and his fate seemed strangely similar to that of this unknown pipa girl.

　　Once, this pipa girl was famous in Beijing for her pipa skills; And he himself is also the focus of political attention. However, now Pipa girl seems to be in trouble, and her married life is a feather; And he is also facing a cold situation that no one cares about. This man, Bai Juyi, was deeply touched by the sound of pipa, and his sleeves were wet with tears.

　　With tears in his eyes, he described this touching story with his pen. This is Pipa Trip, which we studied in the textbook. However, when we were young, we couldn't understand the deep meaning of this poem. 　　Unfortunately, years are ruthless and people's hearts are changeable. With the passage of time, those powerful children who once surrounded her gradually left. Finally, she had to accept the cruelty of reality and marry a businessman's wife.

　　Pipa girl thought that she could keep her eyes busy for a long time by virtue of her beauty and talent. However, she did not expect that everything in the world is changing rapidly, and only impermanence is the true portrayal of life.

　　When Bai Juyi arrived in Chang 'an at the early age of sixteen, he became famous for a while with a song "Farewell to Ancient Grass". But at the age of 29, he went to Beijing to take part in the imperial examination again, winning the first place in one fell swoop and becoming a red man in front of the emperor.

　　Bai Juyi, who was prosperous at that time, did not expect that his life would change dramatically in middle age. In 815 AD, he was demoted to Jiangzhou Sima for overstepping his official duties and offending powerful people. This demotion made him deeply experience the impermanence of life.

As said in A Dream of Red Mansions, there is always prosperity and impermanence in life, there is no eternal trough, and there is no constant satisfaction. However, no matter what kind of changes you experience, you need to adhere to the belief of "not being happy with things, not being sad for yourself", face the present with peace of mind and walk through your life calmly.

　　When talking about Bai Juyi, Su Shi once said in a poem: The road to lotte, how dare decay compare? Everything is observed from Bai. When Bai Juyi was young, he had the ambition to help the world. In order to realize his dream, he worked hard and made unremitting efforts. The road to the imperial examination has gone through hardships, but it has not been achieved. Enter the officialdom, pay attention to people's livelihood, and write frequently. Sharp brushwork reveals reality, and the powerful minister regards him as a thorn in his side and a thorn in his flesh. After his mother died, he was forced to leave politics, but the powerful minister still spared him and demoted him to Jiangzhou. However, Bai Juyi still refused to seal his pen, which made the powerful minister even more unable to hold him.

　　Bai Juyi's life in Jiangzhou was quite challenging. He was once ill and fell into bed, and his health was worrying. Once, when he went out to bid farewell to his friends, he met a pipa girl who had a similar experience with him, which triggered his deep feelings about his life situation. After experiencing major setbacks in his career and ideals, he did not indulge in pain, but accepted the baptism of life with an optimistic attitude. He firmly believes that as long as he has peace of mind, no matter where he is, it is a home. The wise man's famous saying: "human life is like a flood running, and it is difficult to stir up beautiful waves without encountering islands and reefs." It gave him the strength to persevere and let him understand that everyone will experience the most difficult days, but only through hard work and openness can we create an indestructible spiritual world.

　　Bai Juyi's loneliness is like a silent river, quiet and deep. When he bid farewell to his friends, he felt their decreasing companionship, his brow furrowed and his heart was deeply imprinted. 　　When Bai Juyi was in Hangzhou, he actively dredged the West Lake and solved the drinking water problem of local people. Later, in Suzhou, he helped the local people to widen the river ponds and build roads. During this period, he also created a large number of poems, leaving a valuable legacy for cultural inheritance. Zhou Guoping once pointed out that loneliness is human destiny. However, Bai Juyi stuck to himself in loneliness, instead of drifting with the flow or becoming silent, he reached a new height in life.
