Hohai University Hohai Lille College went to Changsha Tongguan Kiln Museum to carry out practical activities.

In order to specifically understand the history of Tongguan ceramics, investigate the current situation of Tongguan ceramics culture propaganda work, and explore the Hunan culture contained in Tongguan ceramics, the Hunan culture inheritance practice group of "utensils, Taoism and humanity" sent a letter in advance, and came to Changsha Tongguan kiln museum on July 5 to carry out practical activities.

Changsha Tongguan Kiln Museum is located in Caitaoyuan Village, Tongguan Street, Wangcheng District, Changsha City. It is a special museum with the theme of "Poetic Painted Porcelain" and showing the history of ceramic culture development in Changsha Tongguan Kiln in Tang Dynasty more than 1,200 years ago.

It's a great honor for the museum to arrange for Peng Yuliang's narrator to explain to the team. Under the leadership of Ms. Peng, the team entered the exhibition hall with the theme of "Blackstone", a sunken ship full of bronze ceramics in the ninth century, and got a glimpse of the trade of bronze ceramics on the Maritime Silk Road from the bronze ceramics recovered from the sunken ship.

Through Ms. Peng's explanation, most of the patterns on the porcelain on Blackstone are not traditional patterns in China, but artistic patterns from different cultures. Team members lamented the deepening of China's foreign exchange at that time, and the wisdom and tolerance of ancient Tongguan kiln workers.

After the visit, the team interviewed Ms. Peng. As a direct propagandist of Tongguan Ceramics, Ms. Peng Yuliang introduced the basic operation mechanism of the museum and its important role in cultural inheritance to the team in detail. Ms. Peng also mentioned that the museum is actively using emerging media platforms such as Tik Tok and WeChat official account to promote ceramic culture, and will often organize some ceramic culture activities to enter the campus and the community, and at the same time vigorously develop experience activities in the museum to assist cultural inheritance by various means. When talking about the relationship between Huxiang culture and Tongguan ceramics, Ms. Peng emphasized the important contribution of Tongguan ceramics to Huxiang culture and China culture not only in ancient times but also in modern times, taking "Blackstone" as an example. Huxiang culture gave birth to the cradle of Tongguan kiln culture, and it is precisely because of the spirit of people in Tongguan that Changsha kiln will continue to innovate, become a dark horse and sell its products all over the world.
