People's Daily Online, Chengdu, August 1st Yesterday, the "Micro Museum of Urban Memory" of Yangjia Ancestral Hall hosted by Xihanggang Street in Shuangliu, Chengdu was opened, and the exhibition of "Ancient and Modern Inheritance and Pottery Jiang 'an" was also held at the scene.

Yangjia ancestral hall was built in the Republic of China, covering an area of more than 100 square meters. Walking into the ancestral temple, the bucket-type brick-wood structure is very eye-catching, especially the single-eaves hanging mountain roof with small blue tiles. The front and vertical ridges of the house are decorated with fired checkered bricks, and there are ridge beasts at both ends of the ridge. Wood-carved doors and windows have the characteristics of western Sichuan folk houses, mainly carved with historical figures, birds, Swiss animals, flowers and other patterns, which are rich in content and exquisite in carving.

At the event site, there was an endless stream of residents visiting. On the left of the ancestral hall are traditional ancient pottery protected by glass boxes, and on the right are newly created modern pottery crafts.

Feng Dabo, the inheritor of Jiang 'an Earth Kiln firing technology, said: "We combine the previous daily-use pottery with the current artistic pottery, create miniature pottery through micro-carving skills, and combine the current sculpture skills to make large-scale utensils, combine visitation with practicality, and make practical utensils, so that the intangible skills can be passed on to all people, so that everyone can experience and pass on."

"It is the best way to make cultural relics alive by sorting out and displaying the historical and cultural resources hidden in the hands of community citizens, so that the general public can enhance their sense of acquisition. The streets spend a small amount of money to do big things and do big things that the citizens like, and the government does its best to let the citizens enjoy themselves. Why not?" Visiting the scene, a senior playmate commented like this.

"This has greatly promoted the historical inheritance of Xihanggang Street in the intangible culture and further explored the history and culture of Xihanggang Street." Li Li, director of the Cultural Service Center of Xihanggang Street, said that Yangjia Ancestral Temple is a cultural relic protection site of Xihanggang Street, and the street used this space to create a "micro museum of urban memory" to collect old objects and intangible works collected by various communities for display.

In the next step, the "Urban Memory Micro Museum" of Yangjia Ancestral Temple will be combined with the "Chuanya Memory" Museum in Lianhua Community of Xihanggang Street to launch a research route for literature and tourism. The street will also launch new immersive performing arts scenes such as digital cinema and Qingwa Lane Theater, so as to improve the basic function of "a happy and livable city" and form the development vision of "moistening the heart with morality and educating people".
