The warmth of family in the mountains

　　Shuilian, it is a place I will never forget. It is located in the mountainous area of Changyang Tujia Autonomous County, surrounded by mountains, like a pure paradise. There, affection is the main theme of life, infiltrating everyone's heart and making this barren and simple village full of warmth and strength.

　　When I was a child, my parents and I lived in a place called Dawuchang in Shuilian. It was a quadrangle, with my third father in the east and my uncle in the front. Five of our brothers and sisters live next door to relatives. Every morning, the first sound when you wake up is melodious birdsong and cowbell ringing in the distance. Then, I will hear the sound of Aunt Millie tapping on the door, holding fresh vegetables and earth eggs in her hand. Aunt millie is a hardworking farmer. She always gives us her own agricultural products and never asks for anything in return. My third father has a daughter named Yuanxiu. I call her "Sister". When she was young, she first worked in a processing factory of our brigade. Beating rice, pressing noodles, etc. Later, she passed the exam and became a angels in white until she retired. My mother died early, and my sister took care of my childhood. Every morning when I get up, I will step in front of her bed and she will comb my hair. When I came home from school, she helped me dress and cook first. My sister was the protector of my childhood. Every holiday, relatives will get together to celebrate the holiday and share happiness. These warm pictures seem to be still in front of me now, which makes me feel that simple affection.

　　In Shuilian, it is common for relatives to walk around each other. Often, the third father and the third mother will take a big bowl of food to sit and eat on the stone bag outside the round gate building. Everyone likes to visit relatives' houses, chat and taste the delicious food cooked by each other. And I prefer to catch seeds, jump rope and chase and play in rice fields with my friends. We are always laughing and full of happiness. Even if we sometimes encounter difficult years, family ties still make us full of courage and persistence. Families will unite as one, face the challenges of life together, and tide over the difficulties with each other's support and help.

　　I remember one year, Shuilian suffered from continuous heavy rain, which led to flash floods and serious damage to crops. The water in the weir overflowed and my father's vegetables were almost washed away. In the face of the disaster, relatives Qi Xin worked together to help rebuild the damaged farmland.
