  Jingyuan Museum ingeniously introduced the traditional tie-dyeing handicraft into the summer research class, so that the traditional culture can be passed down from generation to generation.

  Tie-dyeing, which was called tying and twisting in ancient times, is a traditional folk dyeing technique and an intangible cultural heritage in China, with a history of thousands of years. Tie-dyeing is a kind of printing and dyeing technology that uses rubber bands, yarns, threads and ropes to tie, sew, tie and stitch fabrics, and then dyes them, and then removes the knots. Its technology has certain originality, and the finished product is rich in halo, which is hard to reach by mechanical technology.

  On August 1 ST, traditional tie-dyeing was carried out.
