Why did Zhou Botong disappear when Huang Rong was killed? You see where he went and which genius he took as his apprentice.

At the end of "The Condor Heroes", Yang Guo took the little dragon girl to say goodbye to the heroes at the top of Huashan Mountain. After too much suffering, they decided to retreat to the mountains.

Just as we couldn't wait to open the book "The Dragon Slayer by Eternal Adversity", we found that this follow-up work was skipped by Jin Yong for nearly a hundred years. We only saw this sentence in the original work: On the day when Xiangyang City was destroyed, Guo Daxia and Guo Gong were martyred at the same time, and Tu Longdao was unaccounted for. Guo Zushi was in Xichuan at that time, but it was too late to rush to save his parents and relatives.

In a few words, I mentioned that the Guo Jing family died in battle and died for their country. What about Zhou Botong? He befriended Guo Jing and Huang Rong. Why did he suddenly disappear?

First, the death of Guo Jing Huang Rong

At the end of the sculpture, a thrilling confrontation broke out. In order to break the impregnable city of Xiangyang, King Jinlun, a Mongolian division, took Huang Rong's daughter Guo Xiang hostage in an attempt to force Guo Jing to surrender.

To the surprise of King Jinlun, Yang Guo, Little Dragon Girl, Zhou Botong, Ying Gu, Huang Yaoshi and others all joined the team to rescue Guo Xiang and defend Xiangyang City.

At a critical juncture, Yang Guo defeated King Jinlun with ecstasy and saved Guo Xiang from the high platform. Under the high platform, Zhou Botong wore a soft breastplate and killed the fallen King Jinlun. Subsequently, Zhou Botong and others followed Guo Jing all the way to kill, defeated the Mongolian military forces, and even Khan Mungo was killed by Yang Guo.

Thirteen years later, Kublai Khan of Mongolia led the elite to make a comeback, and 100,000 soldiers and horses surrounded Xiangyang City. According to the setting of the original text, compared with the Xiangyang City War at the end of the sculpture, Huang Rong, Guo Jing at this time is isolated.

First of all, Yang Guo's little dragon girl retired for many years. Secondly, Master Yi Deng and Huang Yaoshi were nearly 100 years old at the end of the sculpture, and after 13 years, they were either senile or died.

However, Zhou Botong, the leader of the new Five Wonders, shows signs of rejuvenation. Why didn't he appear in Xiangyang City?

Second, the rejuvenation of Zhou Botong.

When Yang Guo and Guo Xiang came to Baihua Valley, they found that Zhou Botong's hair and beard turned from white to black. It turns out that Zhou Botong is naive and carefree, and he digs poria cocos and eats honey in Baihua Valley. Over time, Zhou Botong was rejuvenated.

Thirteen years later, the war broke out again in Xiangyang City. If Zhou Botong heard of the war at this time, he would surely rush to Xiangyang City to help Guo Jing Huang Rong at the first time.

Indeed, Zhou Botong and Guo Jing have a friendship with Jin Lan, and he and Huang Rong have a deep friendship. In addition, Zhou Botong once said that he likes to be lively and prefer to fight. Anyway, Zhou Botong will arrive at Xiangyang City, not from ruin.

In fact, the reason why Zhou Botong didn't appear in Xiangyang City is very simple. The ancient traffic information was extremely inconvenient. Zhou Botong probably didn't know that Xiangyang City broke out. After Zhou Botong heard the news, Xiangyang City had already fallen into the hands of the Mongols.

This interpretation is not out of thin air. According to historical records, it is very likely that Zhou Botong went to other places, devoted himself to training, and took a genius as his disciple.

Third, concentrate on cultivation and meet genius.

As we all know, most of Jin Yong's fifteen works follow the real history, and the trilogy of Shooting Carvings is a legendary story about how the protagonists expelled the Tatars and defended their country with the blueprint of the late Southern Song Dynasty and the late Yuan Dynasty.

There are also a large number of historical figures in The Trilogy of Condor Shooting, such as Qiu Chuji, Wang Zhongyang, Hao Datong, Yin Zhiping, Mungo, Kublai Khan, Zhu Yuanzhang, Xu Da, Chang Yuchun and Zhang Sanfeng.

Zhang Sanfeng, in particular, was written by Jin Yong in The Dragon Slayer by Eternal Adversity, and he became a martial artist, thus causing Zhang Sanfeng to collide with the virtual characters in the book, resulting in one exciting story after another.

As mentioned earlier, Jin Yong skipped over the history of nearly a hundred years. We only know that Zhang Sanfeng met Guo Xiang when he was a teenager, and forced him to memorize some of the Jiuyang Zhenjing before the death of Master Jue Yuan, and finally hid in the mountains and forests to study hard.

According to the real history, Zhang Sanfeng still has a master's. In the historical book "Sanfeng Quanshu, Sanfeng's Biography of Wang Xiling", it is written: Zhang Sanfeng entered Zhongnanshan to practice, and worshipped the real dragon as a teacher, and obtained the purpose of the elixir. Living in the mountains for four years, the effect is silent. Those who are familiar with the Taoist way must be both legal and financial, travel and visit all their lives, and they are quite kind, and they are almost empty. They don't feel tears, and the fire dragon blames them. It is the tactic of spreading the alchemy of cinnabar and ordering them to practice.

That is to say, Zhang Sanfeng was able to create his own Wudang vein because he got the purpose of then under the guidance of the real dragon, and then Zhang Sanfeng went out to practice under the instruction of the real dragon, so that he had the opportunity to establish his own Sect and collect disciples.

Who is this real dragon living in Zhongnanshan?

I think this person is probably the old urchin Zhou Botong.

First of all, Zhou Botong is a descendant of Quanzhen religion. Since Yang Guo went to Huashan, it is reasonable for Zhou Botong to return to Zhongnanshan to practice.

Secondly, Zhou Botong once showed a stunt in the era of the condor, which is the prototype of Tai Ji Chuan.

At that time, Zhou Botong broke into the Mongolian camp and found Kublai Khan entertaining King Jinlun, Yin Kexi, Xiaoxiangzi, Nimoxing, Yang Guo, Little Dragon Girl and others.

Zhou Botong, under some nonsense, provoked the pursuit of King Jinlun. At this time, Zhou Botong showed his talents and amazed King Jinlun. Jin Yong wrote that the plate flew flat against the table and hit a plate of roast mutton. The plate of mutton flew to the old man, and the beef plate turned several circles on the table and stopped. It turns out that what Zhou Botong is doing is "Tai Chi Jin", which goes round and round like a Tai Chi map. If you throw a plate in the open space, it will go around in circles.

The principle of this "Tai Chi Jin" advocated by Zhou Botong is exactly the same as that of Tai Ji Chuan. Can we understand that after Zhou Botong returned to Zhongnanshan, he devoted himself to practice, and then got the title of "Fire Dragon Reality"?

By coincidence, the real dragon met Zhang Sanfeng, who was desperate. Seeing that Zhang Sanfeng is talented, he is a rare martial arts wizard, and the real dragon should give everything to Tai Chi.

In this way, it can not only explain why Zhou Botong was not seen when Guo Jing Huang Rong was killed, but also explain that Zhou Botong's prototype was Master Zhang Sanfeng's "real dragon".
