  I am from Hubei. I came to work in Shenzhen after finishing college. I used to work in a large technology company with an annual salary of more than 700,000. In 2020, I bought an 11 million house in Nanshan District of Shenzhen.

  As far as renting a house is concerned, I live in a house of more than 40 square meters in a community less than 1 km away from the company, and the monthly rent is more than 2,300 yuan.

  At that time, the housing price in Shenzhen was already very expensive. The housing price per square meter around the subway station was about 100,000 yuan. As for the real estate in the core area of the business district, the housing price has exceeded 150,000.

  Many old employees in the company have already bought houses in Shenzhen, and some even bought two houses.

  After thinking for a while, I decided to buy the house.

  However, my parents at home were worried and persuaded me not to buy a house in Shenzhen.

  First, the housing price in Shenzhen is too expensive. Buying a house of more than 100 square meters will cost 11 million yuan. Even if my annual salary is not low, it will be difficult to make a down payment for buying a house. Moreover, I will pay the mortgage every month in the future, and the pressure is not small.

  If I go back to my hometown to buy a house, the house price will be much cheaper. As long as I pay 1~2 years' salary, I can buy a house of more than 100 square meters in full.

  Second, I feel that Shenzhen is too far away from my old home. If the family stays in Shenzhen, they rarely return to their hometown.

  If children are allowed to study in their hometown, they can save a lot of money, and parents also plan to help take care of their children, so it will be easier to save money.

  But I don't care, and I let my parents not worry.

  After all, my job is very stable, and my annual salary will only get higher and higher in the future. After buying a house, the family won't have to rent a house again.

  What's more, the weather in Shenzhen is also very good, and it won't be very cold in winter. After parents retire, they can also choose to come to Shenzhen to support the elderly.

  After the completion of the real estate, it took hundreds of thousands of dollars to decorate the house. For this reason, there are not many deposits at home.
