Chen Guanfeng, a "post-00" sprinter from Guangdong, China, ran 10.17 seconds in the men's 100-meter final and won the bronze medal, which set off the atmosphere of the audience. He fulfilled his expectations before the game and broke into the 10-second 20 mark again. Deng Zhijian, another player from China, finished eighth in 10.28 seconds.

　　Jamaican Godson won the championship with a time of 10.04 seconds. He just set a personal best of 9.94 seconds in July this year. Maswangani of South Africa ran 10.06 seconds and won the runner-up. He also set a personal best of 9.91 seconds in June this year.
