　　The book "From an Ancient Civilization to a Cultural Power" was published and reprinted, and the karma is worth explaining. The author comes from a historical research background, and the characteristics of this bank lie in distinguishing the academic chapter, studying the mirror's origin, and speaking one word for one material. Therefore, in the first few years of working in the Central Party School, I have not been able to get a glimpse of the path of contemporary China cultural research. Talk about "chance" in everything. In the summer of 2016, I was entrusted by the organization to work in xiuwen county, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, and had the honor to participate in the preparation of the fifth International Yangming Cultural Festival. In order to improve the quality of activities and truly show the Yangming culture with Guizhou characteristics to the world, the organizing committee of the forum I am responsible for has determined the relevant scheme including three major sections after repeated discussions: the first section is the Longchang Forum, where many famous political and business experts were invited to have in-depth and enthusiastic discussions on three major topics: conscience reconstruction and behavior cultivation, integration of knowledge and practice and professional ethics, and conscience and honesty construction; The second section is "My heart is bright-walking into Wang Yangming's recitation meeting", which uses a combination of Wang Yangming's classic original text recitation, prose poetry recitation and sentiment song singing to vividly interpret and show Wang Yangming's essence and outstanding practice. The third section is "Bing Shennian's Sacrifice Ceremony to Wang Yangming", which consists of four parts: meditating on the initial heart, remembering Yangming, glorifying the mind and learning, and integrating knowledge with practice, showing a strong sense of ceremony. Generally speaking, this Yangming Cultural Festival has high-end specifications, distinct themes, strong atmosphere and fruitful results.On the whole, it has promoted the promotion and popularization of Yangming culture in xiuwen county, Guiyang and even Guizhou. In particular, the promotion of cultural undertakings and cultural industries in Xiuwen has achieved remarkable results in improving the mental outlook of local people. Afterwards, I think that the specific experience can be summarized into two parts: first, we should rely on the local characteristic cultural resources, innovate, inherit and transform, carry forward and innovate simultaneously, combine the contents of socialist core values, and spread them in a way that the people like to see and hear, in order to get into the mind and finally achieve the effect of daily use without knowing or knowing. Second, in the process of protecting historical and cultural relics and researching and developing cultural and creative industries, on the one hand, the local people should pursue high-end and elegant taste, and at the same time, they must adhere to the purpose of benefiting the people and benefiting the people, so as to further enhance the people's cultural identity and pride in the region. It is because of this experience that I have greatly improved my understanding and grasp of cultural construction. At the same time, several questions stand in my heart and always linger: is Chinese excellent traditional culture a productive force? Effective combination of short-term tasks and long-term planning? It is urgent to cultivate the team of "double-creation" professionals; What's the matter with eyes, ears and mind? ..... Because of the puzzles that have been lingering in my mind for a long time, since the beginning of 2017, I began to try to research and write about the cultural construction of Socialism with Chinese characteristics. With the deepening of thinking, especially in the actual investigation and discussion, I feel that this is a very broad new world. After five years, I gradually accumulated more than 40 articles, large and small.Generally, it has the scale and standard of publishing. With the repeated encouragement and supervision of Brother Zhai Jinming of People's Publishing House, the book "From Ancient Civilization to Cultural Power" was published in February this year. The so-called "chance" can flow at any time. In 2020, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee attached great importance to cultural construction and made strategic and overall planning and design. Among them, the most important thing is to clearly propose to build a cultural power by 2035. It can be seen that since the major goal of building a socialist cultural power was put forward, the CPC Central Committee has been actively promoting it, drawing a blueprint to the end and constantly refining the specific tasks of deploying and building a cultural power. At that time, invited by Guangming Daily, I wrote a review article. In the process of conception, a question became more and more intense: after the goal of becoming a cultural power in 2035 is basically completed, where will China's cultural construction go? Therefore, when the first edition of my book was published, I failed to face the problem directly. Finally, the "Symposium on Cultural Heritage and Development" on June 2nd put forward a major proposition of "Modern Civilization of the Chinese Nation" and gave a clear plan, that is, "Only by comprehensively and deeply understanding the history of Chinese civilization can we more effectively promote the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture, and more effectively promote the cultural construction of Socialism with Chinese characteristics and build the modern civilization of the Chinese nation." According to many new important conclusions, I added and revised the contents of the manuscript at the first time. So at the end of June, the new edition arrived as scheduled. It must be admitted that my book is limited to learning and knowledge, and there are many shortcomings.This is an era in which knowledge is updated with each passing day and information iteration continues to accelerate. As a scholar, if he lacks keen academic consciousness and firm academic determination, he will be abandoned by the trend. The author is willing to always hold a sober mind and explore the path of building a modern civilization of the Chinese nation in the future.
