Museum operation evaluation is a professional evaluation activity aimed at the management and operation of the museum in a three-year cycle, aiming at investigating and evaluating the operation quality of the museum. All national first-,second-and third-class museums that have obtained the corresponding grade for more than three years shall participate in the operation evaluation as required. As a national second-class museum evaluated in 2018, the Hubei, Henan and Anhui Revolutionary Memorial Hall participated in the online declaration of this operation evaluation in March this year.

At the meeting, Cha Intelligence, director of the Hubei, Henan and Anhui Revolutionary Memorial Hall, reported the basic situation of our library to the expert group. He said that the Hubei, Henan and Anhui Revolutionary Memorial Hall attached great importance to this operation evaluation work, set up a special work class, carefully studied it against the evaluation standards, decomposed the indicators item by item, defined the division of tasks, comprehensively sorted out relevant information and completed the reporting work on time.

After on-site inspection of the relevant supporting materials submitted by our library, the expert group affirmed the operation evaluation of our library and thought that the materials submitted by us were rich and informative. Combined with the actual situation of the memorial hall, the expert group put forward some targeted opinions and suggestions, hoping that our library will make further efforts in inter-library exchanges, academic research and cultural and creative brands.

The museum operation evaluation is a great test of the overall work level and quality of our library, an important measure to strengthen standardized management and improve the operation level of education, exhibition, service, research, protection and safety, and also lay a solid foundation for our library to strive for the national first-class museum in the next step.
