The king of swimming in Africa dreams of becoming a multi-gold king in the Olympic Games, and his number of events in Paris is amazing.

Ahmed hafner Oui, a Tunisian double champion in Fukuoka Swimming World Championships, said on the 2nd local time that he hopes to become the greatest Olympic athlete in Tunisia's history at next year's Paris Olympic Games. The 20-year-old won the men's 800m and 1500m freestyle gold medals at the World Championships in Japan last week. He said he wanted to "break the Tunisian record of winning the most medals and all the world records."

Muhammad Ghamdi, a long-distance runner who won four medals between 1964 and 1972, is the most successful Olympic athlete in Tunisia. Hafner Wu Yi won the men's 400-meter freestyle at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games and has already won an Olympic gold medal. He also won the silver medal in 400 meters at the World Championships held in Fukuoka last week.

"Everyone should believe in themselves, believe in their work and make sacrifices in order to succeed," hafner Uyi told reporters when returning from Japan.

He said that at next year's Paris Olympic Games, he may also take part in 5 km and 10 km open water swimming events and 200 m freestyle. "But 100 meters will be very difficult," said the Tunisian swimmer.
