　　Every summer is a period of high incidence of drowning accidents, and preventing drowning and keeping safe has become a hot topic of concern to the whole society. On the morning of July 31st, Shantou Women's Federation and longhu district Women's Federation, together with longhu district Waisha Street Women's Federation and Waisha Street New Age Civilization Practice Institute, held the "Children's Heart to the Party, Caring and Guarding with Growth" summer child care service activity in 2023 at Pengsha College in Waisha. More than 50 volunteers from longhu district Shantou and teachers and students from Lincuo Village Primary School participated in this activity.

　　During the activity, women volunteers guided the children to seriously understand and remember the "six prohibitions" of drowning prevention, such as "no swimming without permission", and master the skills of protecting themselves, correctly saving themselves and saving others in case of drowning and other emergencies. Longhu district Women's Federation also distributed "A Letter from Summer Drowning Prevention to Parents in the Region" on the spot, calling on parents in the region to attach great importance to the safety education of summer children, give them more careful care and help them spend a safe, healthy and happy holiday.

　　Huang Yuqun, vice chairman and secretary general of Shantou Folk Writers and Artists Association, combined with the knowledge of lantern riddles, told the children the origin of "August 1st Army Day" and the stories of heroes in different periods. The propaganda film on the law on the protection of women's rights and interests broadcast at the event site popularized legal knowledge on marriage and family rights, property rights and personal rights through case interpretation.

　　It is reported that in recent years, Shantou longhu district Women's Federation has actively implemented the construction project of "The more beautiful the home is, the happier Guangdong is". During this summer vacation, it will cooperate with relevant departments to do a good job in visiting key special families and caring for special children, attract enthusiastic people and organizations from all walks of life to carry out targeted assistance activities for the children of migrant workers, and provide accurate assistance to families with difficulties in migrant workers by establishing a typical case tracking system. At the same time, give full play to the role of community parents' schools and women's homes, and hold roving lectures in 10 streets of the whole district to promote scientific parenting concepts, spread civilized ideas and carry forward family virtues.
