Typhoon Kanu has entered Shencheng, the East China Sea, and the wind has increased, and fishermen have avoided danger.

This year's No.6 typhoon "Kanu" entered the East China Sea this morning (August 2). At 6 o'clock in the evening, its center is about 500 kilometers south-east of Yuhuan City, Zhejiang Province, and it is a strong typhoon. The meteorological department predicts that it will be less likely to land along the coast from central Zhejiang to northern Fujian.

Affected by the easterly airflow around Typhoon Kanu, Shencheng is still a day of blue sky, white clouds, dark clouds and showers. During the day, the sun appears and disappears. Although the highest temperature is only 33.5 degrees, it feels sultry because of the relatively high air humidity.

The citizen said: "When the sun is not there, it feels quite comfortable when it is cloudy, and it is very hot when the sun comes out."

Under the influence of Typhoon Kanu, the wind in Shencheng increased today, with 4 to 5 winds from east to northeast and 6 gusts. In the coastal areas along the Yangtze River, the wind is high and the waves are urgent. At 9: 00 a.m., at the fishing boat wharf of Fengxian Bay Tourist Area, 36 fishing boats ended their jellyfish fishing operations ahead of schedule and all of them moved to the safer Nanzhu Port to avoid danger.

Lebo, a resident of Tanhu New Village in the Gulf Tourist Area, said: "All our fishing boats are now going to Nanzhu Port to take shelter from the wind, and all our boats are required to go ashore as long as they are fixed."

At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the center of Typhoon Kanu is located on the ocean surface about 510 kilometers south-east of Yuhuan City, Zhejiang Province, with a maximum wind force of 15.

Wu Rui, chief service officer of Shanghai Meteorological Bureau, said: "After Typhoon Kanu entered the East China Sea, its steering flow weakened and its speed slowed down. It is about 200 to 300 kilometers away from the coast from central Zhejiang to southern Fujian. At present, we judge that the possibility of its landing in this coastal area is declining. Now we will see that Typhoon Kanu will have no obvious wind and rain impact on Shanghai in the next two to three days. "

The meteorological department predicts that "Kanu" will move westward at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will be enhanced, gradually approaching the coastal area from central Zhejiang to northern Fujian.
