It is estimated that in the next three hours, there may be 20~50 mm precipitation in Jilin City, Lan Shu and Yongji, and the precipitation in some towns and villages can reach more than 100 mm.

　　The Jilin Provincial Meteorological Bureau issued a weather bulletin at 19: 00 on August 2:

　　First, the weather situation

　　Affected by the northward movement of the residual water vapor of Typhoon No.5 "Du Surui" and the shear at the back of the subtropical high, it began to rain in our province in the afternoon of August 1, and some towns and villages experienced heavy rain. As of 19: 00 on the 2nd, the average precipitation in the whole province was 14.6 mm, with regional distribution: Songyuan 34.9 mm, Changchun 21.3 mm, Jilin 20.6 mm, Baicheng 14.1 mm, Yanbian 13.6 mm, Siping 3.4 mm, Liaoyuan 1.5 mm, Changbai Mountain Reserve 1.4 mm, Baishan 1.3 mm and Tonghua 1.1 mm (see attached map).

　　1 station with process precipitation over 250 mm, 19 stations with 100 ~ 249.9 mm, 84 stations with 50 ~ 99.9 mm, 202 stations with 25 ~ 49.9 mm and 246 stations with 10 ~ 24.9 mm.. Top 10 precipitation: elm long hair 270.4 mm, Changling Xinyi 217.8 mm, Changling Liujiazi 203.5 mm, Changling Wushutai 188.9 mm, Yushu Fuzhou 175.5 mm, Changling Victory 157.4 mm, Elm Linhe 155.5 mm, Elm Daling 133.2 mm, Elm Xinzhuang 126.3 mm and Changling Baoqingshan 126.3 mm.

　　There are 195 stations with short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rain stronger than 20 mm; Short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rain stronger than 30 mm appeared at 92 stations; There were short-term heavy precipitation with hourly rain stronger than 50 mm at 27 stations. The maximum hourly rainfall intensity is 108.8 mm, which appears in Xinyi, Changling.

　　Second, the future weather forecast

　　At present, rainfall is mainly located in the south and northeast of Songyuan, north of Siping, most of Changchun, north-central Jilin and north of Yanbian, and gradually pushes eastward.

　　It is estimated that in the next three hours (19: 00-22: 00), most of Songyuan, Changchun, northern Siping, north-central Jilin and northern Yanbian will be dominated by convective precipitation, among which Changling, Gongzhuling, Changchun, Yushu, Jiutai, Jilin City, Yongji and Lan Shu may experience precipitation of 20-50 mm, and some towns and villages may experience precipitation of more than 100 mm. There may be 8-20 mm precipitation in other areas, accompanied by strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and short-term heavy precipitation.
