In order to strengthen the safety supervision of barbecue meat products, Wannian County Market Supervision Administration recently launched a special inspection on the safety of barbecue meat products in summer within its jurisdiction.

　　The bureau organized food safety law enforcement officers to go deep into barbecue meat products (skewers) production units within its jurisdiction, focusing on checking whether barbecue meat products production enterprises such as skewers hold valid licenses, whether production sites such as raw material warehouses, finished product warehouses and production workshops of enterprises meet the requirements, and whether enterprises seriously implement the food safety self-inspection system; Whether there are incoming inspection records, whether the inspection records are complete, and whether there are inspection certificates for each batch of raw materials; Whether there are irregularities in identification, whether there are illegal acts such as falsely marking the date of production; Whether there is a cold storage room for finished products suitable for production capacity, etc. During the inspection, law enforcement officers urged relevant enterprises to strengthen the awareness of quality and responsibility for the safety production of barbecue meat products, strictly implement the responsibility for food safety and various food safety management systems, and ensure the quality and safety of barbecue meat products.

　　Up to now, the Bureau has inspected five barbecue meat production enterprises and eliminated three potential risks.
