At 18: 45 on July 31st, the fire rescue brigade of Zhuozhou City, Baoding, Hebei Province received an alarm, saying that there was serious water accumulation in yongle village of Zhuozhou City, and a pregnant woman in a resident's home needed to be transferred urgently. Firefighters rushed to the scene to rescue pregnant women and their families from the dangerous area of wading.
Six people were trapped in the stagnant water section and were rescued by fire.
At 7: 15 on August 1st, Zhuozhou Fire Rescue Brigade received an alarm, and people near Jingbai Road were trapped and in urgent need of rescue. The fire department immediately rushed to the scene to transfer six trapped people to safety.

According to the inflow situation, Hebei Province decided to open the Yongding River floodplain at 6: 00 on August 2. Yongding River floodplain is one of 98 national flood storage and detention areas, located in the middle and lower reaches of Yongding River, involving Guangyang District, Anci District, Yongqing County of Langfang City, Hebei Province and wuqing district and Beichen District of Tianjin, with a flood storage capacity of about 400 million cubic meters, which is an important part of the flood control engineering system of Yongding River Basin.
