On August 1st, jointly sponsored by Minsheng Energy Group and Shizhu County Economic and Information Committee, Shizhu Minsheng Natural Gas Company hosted the "Minsheng Energy Group Natural Gas Safety Knowledge Exhibition" held in Yuyin Square.
In order to widely popularize the basic knowledge of natural gas and common sense of safe gas use, Minsheng Energy Group has been touring its subsidiaries since July 20 to carry out the 2023 gas safety knowledge exhibition with the theme of "gas safety and alarm bells ringing", which is also the 15th gas safety knowledge publicity activity of Shizhu Minsheng Natural Gas Company this year.
At the event site, Shizhu Minsheng Natural Gas Company carried out publicity activities by setting up exhibition boards, information desks, slogans and banners, LED display screens, distributing publicity materials and on-site explanations. On-site demonstration of the use of stainless steel bellows, alarms, self-closing valves, gas appliance and other gas facilities and equipment; Propagandize the common sense of safe gas use, the hazards and preventive measures of liquefied petroleum gas, and the identification method of qualified gas appliance; Exquisite aprons printed with "gas safety alarm bells ringing" were distributed, and the on-site staff interacted enthusiastically with the masses.
"Through this safety knowledge promotion, I learned a lot about safe gas use." Zhao Tingting, a resident of Wan 'an Street in Shizhu County, said.
During the activity, Shizhu Minsheng Natural Gas Company also set up 20 security inspection teams to carry out on-site security inspection, focusing on the use and hidden dangers of indoor facilities such as gas pipelines, safety alarm cut-off devices and gas appliance, and simultaneously guiding the rectification methods.
It is understood that more than 5,000 leaflets and more than 2,000 manuals on the safe use of natural gas were distributed in this activity, and 16 potential safety hazards were found in the door-to-door security inspection and have been disposed of on the spot. (Wang Qin)
